The general meeting of shareholders appointed Edgar van den Berg as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Executive Board of GD Group B.V., on July 1st, 2024. In addition, Edgar has been the CFO of Royal GD since January 2023.

Edgar van den Berg and Ynte Schukken, CEO of the GD Group, together form the Executive Board of the group. They will shape the vision and steer the further development of the group, a family of companies driven by a clear mission. In the coming years, GD Group aims to establish itself as a leader in the field, offering valuable insights into animal health. 

Edgar van den Berg is an experienced international CFO. He held various financial positions at Nutreco and Mowi in South America, North America, and Europe, gaining extensive experience in leading finance teams, management reporting, business analyses, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
Edgar earned a master’s degree Agriculture and Economics from Wageningen University (WUR), an executive MBA from TSM Business School and is Register Controller.
